Writer's Block: What if calories didn't count?

If a magic genie told you your calories wouldn't count for 24 hours, would it change what and how much you ate that day?

    View 1264 Answers

Absolutely not. I don't count calories. I just try to eat healthy. I could eat healthier and exercise more, but then again, who couldn't?

Writer's Block: If stains could talk

If an annoying acquaintance got spinach between his or her teeth or an embarrassing salsa stain, would you tell them or let them suffer in shame?

    View 934 Answers

I got enough demands on my time to worry about without worrying about someone I don't care about. If they are an annoying acquaintance, then I don't care about them and they can take care of themselves. Their problem, not mine.

    Writer's Block: Home Remedies

When you get sick or have a cold, what's your favorite remedy to make you feel better?

    View 1666 Answers

A nice hot shower and some hot herbal tea always helps. That and some relaxing music and some medicine is great.

    R.I.P. Trouble
Trouble is an old dog that my husband and mother-in-law has had for a long time. Last couple of days, he's been sick and has had trouble breathing. By the time my mother-in-law woke up this morning, he had passed away. He was an old dog with a lot of heart, dispite his medical problems(about five years ago, he fell off of the table at a pet groomers and dislocated his hip, by the time they realized it was more then just sprained, it was too late, and even with surgery, it didn't heal right).
Now, my husband and mother-in-law are sad, and I'm bummed cause they are sad. I feel bad cause they lost a loved one, but I've never been one to mourn overly much for a lost pet. I hope that doesn't make me a horrible person. Now, I am focusing on trying to cheer them up.

    R.I.P. Trouble.

    Writer's Block: Busting Blocks

It's blockbuster season in movie theaters. What was the last movie you saw?

    View 500 Answers

Last movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Funny movie, if you like stupid funny with a bit of action, it's a good movie. Before that was Transformers 2, X-Men Origins, Angels and Demons, and StarTrek. This is going from last to first seen mind you.

    Ren Fest
As I said earlier, Sean and I went to the Renaissance Festival, only I was mistaken about the city. It was in Larkspur, not Larksburg, CO. It was hot, sweaty, and fun, up till it started with a thunderstorm. It would have been alright if the shows had a little bit more cover, but as it was, Sean was in a sleeveless shirt, somehow he forgot his hat, so the rain and the wind was making him a little cold, and the rain was getting into his eyes. Other then the rain, it was awesome. The drive home was kind of interesting driving through a thunderstrom on the interstate. Next year we're just going to have to bring a backpack or something, so we can put an umbrella and extra stuff we may need. We only got a little sunburnt on spots we missed with the sunscreen. Yay! After we got home, we ordered pizza cause none of us wanted to cook, too tired.

    Writer's Block: Call Me

Do you still use a landline at home, or do you rely completely on your cell phone?

    View 502 Answers

Completely cell phones. We never used the land line when we had it and it makes no sense paying for something we don't use. We save at least $35 a month this way. That's $420 a year. May not seem like a lot but it helps.

Depending on who they are and what they did, yes. If they are some sociopath(sp?) who raped and murdered dozens of women and children for the hell of it, then no. But for most people who just made a stupid mistake, yeah sure.

    Writer's Block: Jackpot

If you won the lottery, what would you do with your newfound riches?

If I won the lottery, I would make sure ALL of my family is out of debt. All bills will be paid off, all cars will be repaired/replaced and paid off. I would then buy a house. College education fund will play in somewhere. Maybe a cruise to Alaska, a trip to Ireland or New Zealand. Maybe a vacation home in Florida.

    Guy walks into the bar
Guy walks into the bar, goes up to the bartender. Reaching into his pants pocket, we pulls out a hundred dollar bill. "Set up everybody in the place!" he shouts. The bartender obliges.

Suddenly, a little man jumps out of the guy's pocket, runs down the bar, and kicks all of the drinks, smokes, change, etc on the floor. He runs back and jumps back into the guys pocket. Bartender asks whats going on. The guy just reaches back into his pants pocket, pulls out another hundred, and says "just set everybody up again." Bartender obliges once more, suspiciously watching the guy. Once more the little man appears from the guys shirt pocket. Runs down the bar, breaks the glasses, pitches the napkins into the air, etc. Runs back and jumps into the shirt pocket again. This time the guy buttons the pocket. Bartender says "explain yourself, or leave." Guy says "Well....I was walking down the beach one day, and ran across a bottle in the sand. Turns out there is a Genie in the bottle. Gave me 3 wishes! So first wish was to never run out of cash again. Now every time I reach into my pants pocket there is a hundred dollar bill! Second wish was to never be lonely again. Went back to my apartment and there waiting for me were 3 of the most beatuiful supermodels you have ever seen, all willing to do whatever I desired from them!"

"Third wish...I wished for a 6 inch prick, and THIS IS THE LITTLE BASTARD I GOT!!!"
